What’s your favorite memory with the Alliance so far ?: Since it's my first year, I'm still in the process of creating memories with the team. Every practice and every moment we share allows me to get to know the dancers better, and they inspire me tremendously!
At what age did you start dancing ?: I started dancing when I was about 8 years old.
Who is your dance icon ?:
I'm inspired by several dancers, including Kassidy Bright, Marlee Hightower, and Sean Lew. L also recently discovered Kennedy "KK" Nichols, also known as KK Rose. I find her extremely inspiring and I'm fascinated by yhte precision of her movements and her execution of very complex choreography.
What are you most looking forward to experiencing while dancing with the Alliance ?: I'm really looking forward to representing, through my passion, my love for dance as well as for basketball, a sport I played for many years during high school.
What would you be doing if you weren't dancing ?: I'm already studying communications, and if I didn't dance, I would probably see myself working in the media field, for example on a TV set.
What’s the essential item in your dance bag ?: It might seem simple, but I always have a Gatorade and a hair scrunchie in my bag to tie my hair with damaging it.
What’s your go-to song for dancing ?:
I'd say my go-to song for dancing is
It's Tricky by Run-D.M.C. This song has been part of my life for a long time.
Do you have a superstition or pre-performance ritual ?: I'm not very superstitious, so no!
What three words best describe your dance style?: Precise, rhythmic, and energetic.
What advice would you give a younger dancer?: Do what you love, but set clear goals and be patient while achieving them. The best things take time!
