Tayshaun thomas
The Montreal Alliance has added Montréal native Tayshaun Thomas to the roster as part of U SPORTS Signing Day, an initiative led by the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL).
A 6’4” guard, Thomas begins his professional career in his hometown following a strong collegiate and university career. A product of Champlain College Saint-Lambert, where he earned MVP and leadership honours, he continued his development with the Cape Breton University CAPERS.
In his rookie U SPORTS season in 2025–26, Thomas averaged 8.8 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, while showcasing his versatility and defensive presence. His performance earned him AUS Rookie of the Year honours, along with a place on the AUS All-Rookie Team.
