Bahaïde Haïdara

Bahaïde Haïdara played three NCAA Divison 1 seasons with George Mason (2019-21) and St. Francis Brooklyn (2021-22) before joining the UQAM Citadins for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 seasons.

In his first season with the Citadins, Haïdara was named RSEQ Defensive Player of the Year as well as to the RSEQ First All-Star Team, leading to his selection by the Montréal Alliance in the second round of the 2023 CEBL U Sports draft.

In his second season with UQAM, Haïdara was once again named to the RSEQ First All-Star Team.

Haïdara was drafted by the Alliance for a second consecutive season following his 2023-24 season with UQAM*.

*U Sports players can be drafted multiple times as the CEBL allow teams to draft 'U Sports Developmental Players' who haven't graduated yet and must return to their collegiate teams following their stint in the CEBL.

‹ I'm grateful to be back with the Alliance for the 2024 season. I'm looking forward to showing the progress I've made since last season and having an impact on the team's success. ›
