50/50 Draw – 2026 Season
Rules of Participation and Operation

Eligibility:

• Participation is open to individuals aged 18 and over who are physically located in the province of Quebec at the time of ticket purchase.

How to Participate:

• Tickets will be sold by volunteers during events or through an online platform.
  
• Participants who purchase tickets in person will receive a printed ticket showing the numbers associated with their purchase.
• Those who buy tickets online must keep the confirmation page listing their ticket numbers.
• All individual ticket numbers corresponding to purchases are automatically entered into an electronic draw, where the winning number is selected using a random number generator.
  
• Each ticket is valid only for the specific draw selected and is non-transferable.
  
• Ticket pricing: 10 for $10, 30 for $20.

Draw and Winner Notification:

• The date and time of each draw will be indicated in the event title.
• Draw dates for the 2026 season are: May 9, May 15, May 19, May 26, May 31, June 5, June 7, June 10, June 26, July 3, July 10, July 24, and July 28, 2026.
• The winning number and prize amount will be posted on the website following each draw:

• The winning number will also be displayed on arena screens.
• In the event of any discrepancy between the displayed number and the official winning number, the official number will prevail.
• The winner will be contacted by phone for verification and must provide a copy of their ticket. Arrangements must be made to claim the prize within ten (10) days of the draw.
  
• Winners must complete a declaration and liability waiver form before receiving their prize.
• The prize amount represents 50% of the total funds raised. If there is any discrepancy between the displayed amount and the actual total raised, the latter will prevail.
• The final prize amount is based on net ticket sales after administrative costs, as calculated and announced on the draw platform.
• Prizes will be paid by cheque or bank transfer.
  
• Prizes are non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded, with no substitutions.
  
• Only the holder of the winning ticket may claim the prize.
  
• Winners have ten (10) days to claim their prize.
• The Foundation assumes no responsibility for any claims made by third parties regarding entitlement to the prize.
  
• Odds of winning depend on the total number of tickets sold.
  
• All tickets are subject to verification. Any fraudulent tickets will be rejected and deemed invalid.

General Conditions:

• No official tax receipt will be issued for ticket purchases, in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency regulations.
  All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including errors made during purchase.
• If the integrity of a draw is compromised in any way, the organization will notify the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux du Québec (RACJ) and consult them on the appropriate course of action.
• The organization must receive RACJ approval before cancelling a draw or making any changes to the rules.
• This raffle program is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. All decisions made by the organizers are final.

Publicity Release

• By participating in the draw, winners authorize the organizers and their representatives to use their name, image, and biographical information for purposes related to the organization and its activities, including promotional and advertising use, without additional compensation.
