Ibrahim Appiah

Assistant General Manager

Ibrahim Appiah was named assistant general manager prior to the Montréal Alliance’s inaugural season.


Appiah was considered by many to be one of Canada’s top prospects after graduating from Champlain College St-Lambert and went on to play at High Point University, the University of West Alabama and Simon Fraser University. 


Appiah served as assistant coach and advisor for various QC United basketball teams where he mentored and developed top emerging talent in the province of Québec. He also served as an assistant coach and advisor at the Alma Academy in the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), where he played a key role in developing many athletes who would go on to play in the NCAA’s Division 1, top U Sports programs, in the CEBL and professionally abroad. Appiah coached and took on the role of manager for Chris Boucher of the NBA’s Toronto Raptors.
