6-foot-5 American guard from Atmore, Alabama, Lue Williams III joins the Montreal Alliance for the 2026 CEBL season.
Williams III arrives in Montreal following an impressive rookie professional season with Lahti Basketball in Finland, where he averaged 19.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game while shooting 47.2 percent from the field and 42.2 percent from three-point range.
Before turning professional, he built a strong collegiate career at Tarleton State University (NCAA Division I), where he established himself as a consistent starter and versatile contributor on both ends of the floor. Prior to Tarleton State, Williams stood out at Coastal Alabama South as one of the team’s top offensive threats.
A dynamic scorer with strong perimeter shooting and the ability to impact the game in multiple ways, Williams brings offensive versatility and competitiveness to the Alliance backcourt.
