Subscribe from a computer (Mac – Calendar app)
- Open the Calendar app on your computer.
- In the menu bar, click File > New Calendar Subscription.
- Paste the iCal link.
- Set the location to iCloud.
- Uncheck Alerts and Attachments to receive calendar updates only.
- Set auto-refresh to Every 5 minutes.
- Make sure Ignore Alerts is not checked.
- Click OK.
Subscribe from an iPhone
Method 1: Using the Calendar app (iOS 14 and later)
- Open the Calendar app.
- Tap Calendars (at the bottom of the screen).
- Tap Add Calendar.
- Select Add Subscription Calendar.
- Paste the iCal URL, then tap Subscribe.
- Name the calendar, choose a color, then tap Add and Done.
Method 2: Using Settings (iOS 13 or earlier, or alternate method)
- Open Settings.
- Go to Calendar > Accounts > Add Account.
- Select Other, then Add Subscribed Calendar.
- Paste the iCal link in the Server field, then tap Next.
- Add a description for the calendar, then tap
Save.
