Protexxa and Montréal Alliance Join Forces to Promote Cybersecurity Education

Feb 08, 2024

The Montréal Alliance is thrilled to announce an innovative official partnership with Protexxa, a cutting-edge cybersecurity platform that leverages artificial intelligence to swiftly identify, assess, predict, and resolve cybersecurity issues.

This groundbreaking collaboration goes beyond the traditional realms of sports partnerships. Not only will Protexxa become an official partner of the Montréal Alliance, but the Alliance will extend its impact into the community through a cybersecurity education program. As part of this initiative, Alliance players will actively engage with local schools to promote awareness about the importance of cybersecurity.

Annie Larouche, President of the Montréal Alliance, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “It is with great pleasure that we welcome Protexxa as a major partner of the Montréal Alliance. Protexxa’s commitment to community and innovation aligns seamlessly with our team’s vision, and we are confident that this partnership will be mutually beneficial.”

Claudette McGowan, CEO of Protexxa, added: By partnering with The Montreal Alliance, we aim to lead a movement that puts cybersecurity literacy at the heart of digital behaviour. Protexxa is excited to bring advanced cyber expertise, and complement the Alliance's capacity to shape community-wide digital postures. Our joint efforts will equip everyone – our businesses and our community – to defend their digital footprint. This is a testament to our shared commitment to fostering a cyber-resilient society, starting right here in Montreal.

This collaboration not only underscores the commitment of both organisations to excellence, but also emphasises the shared values of community engagement and technological innovation.

As part of this partnership, Protexxa will actively contribute to enhancing the Alliance’s cybersecurity measures, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and the privacy of both players and fans. Additionally, the partnership will empower the Alliance to take a leading role in promoting cybersecurity awareness in the community.
