After the completion of the 2023 season, Louis was awarded the team’s Defensive Player of the Year award.

Following the 2023 CEBL season, the point guard ventured overseas to sign his first professional contract with TFT Skopje in North Macedonia. In 27 games played, Louis has been a major contributor, averaging 9.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.

“We’re thrilled to have Alain back with the Alliance for another season,” said Joel Anthony, General Manager of the Alliance. “His commitment to the team, combined with his continued development, intensity, and work ethic, make him an invaluable asset to our roster.”

Louis’ basketball journey is marked by remarkable achievements, including a standout collegiate career at Carleton University, where he played a pivotal role in leading the Ravens to three consecutive national championships. His performances on the court earned him recognition as the tournament MVP during his final collegiate year.

Off the court, Louis continues to make a difference in the community, embodying the Alliance’s commitment to giving back. Following the 2023 season, Louis was honoured with the Alliance People’s Champion award, recognizing his impact off the court.

“I’m excited to continue representing my city and contributing to the Alliance’s success,” said Louis. “Montréal is home, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue pursuing my passion for basketball alongside this incredible fanbase.”

Louis’ return to the Alliance comes as the team prepares to host the highly anticipated 2024 CEBL Championship Weekend from August 9-11 at the Verdun Auditorium.
