Montreal Returns Home for Scarborough Rematch

Montreal, QC — The Montreal Alliance returns to the Verdun Auditorium Friday night for the second leg of a home-and-home series against the Eastern Conference-leading Scarborough Shooting Stars. Friday's Retro Hip-Hop Night will feature a live halftime performance by Jo Dolo, a Québec rapper and actor on the hit series Shoresy, with student tickets starting at just $20.


Montreal enters the matchup with a 7-7 record following a narrow 80-78 loss to Scarborough on Wednesday afternoon. The Alliance once again showcased its offensive depth, with six players finishing in double figures.


Quincy Guerrier leads Montreal with averages of 14.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Ant Nelson remains one of the league's top playmakers, ranking third in the CEBL with 7.1 assists per contest.


The Shooting Stars return to Verdun with a league-best 12-2 record after Wednesday's victory. Myles Powell leads Scarborough with 25.2 points per game, while Frank Mitchell tops the CEBL with 11.4 rebounds per contest.


Friday's matchup presents another important opportunity for Montreal as it continues its push back toward second place in the Eastern Conference.
