The Brampton Honey Badgers head east to take on the Montréal Alliance at the Verdun Auditorium on Sunday at 4:00 pm ET. The game will be available for streaming live on TSN+, CEBL+, and on the CEBL Mobile app.

This matchup will be the first of two games in four days between the Honey Badgers and the Alliance. The miniseries will flip venues and continue in Brampton on Wednesday, and it’ll be the second of three times the two times will face-off this season.

Last season, Brampton (Hamilton) and Montréal went head-to-head twice, with both games being won by the eventual     champions, the Honey Badgers. In those contests, Brampton showed their defensive prowess, limiting Montréal to 72 points in both matchups.

Brampton is coming into this game after picking up their first win of the season against the Winnipeg Sea Bears. The Honey Badgers were losing for most of the game and went on a 12-4 run in Target Score Time to come out on top.

Montréal comes into this game after suffering their first defeat of the year in an 89-75 loss to the Ottawa BlackJacks. Despite getting contributions from multiple players, the Alliance weren’t able to slow down the BlackJacks offense. The Alliance lead guard Blake Francis scored 18 points and added four assists in the game.
