THE MONTRÉAL ALLIANCE PARTNERS WITH DESJARDINS FOR THE 2022 CEBL SEASON

May 11, 2022

Montréal, QC – The Montréal Alliance is proud to partner with Desjardins for the 2022 season of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL).

“We are very proud to be associated with a company that shares similar values, such as inclusion and diversity,” said Annie Larouche, Vice President, Operations of the Montréal Alliance. “Like the Alliance, Desjardins promotes a healthy lifestyle and provides great support to the community, especially to the youth. It was important for our team to join forces with such a company.”

About Desjardins

The history of Desjardins Group is thoroughly intertwined with that of modern Quebec. For over 100 years now, the development of the Desjardins network and the diversification of its activities paralleled the social and economic boom of the province. Desjardins, one of the biggest financial groups in Canada today, has always been true to the philosophy of its founder: to contribute to the well-being of individuals and communities. As an International Co-operative Alliance member, Desjardins shares the same ideals as thousands of cooperatives around the world. These ideals are expressed through a set of values that have defined the cooperative identity from the very start, such as self-help, self-responsibility and responsibility for others, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity. Cooperative members respect ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others.
