May 28, 2023

The Montréal Alliance takes on the Ottawa BlackJacks at 4:00pm at the Verdun Auditorium. This afternoon’s game is broadcast live on TSN+, CEBL+, BPM Sports and TSN 690.

The two teams met twice last season. The Alliance won the first matchup by a score of 86-80, followed by a BlackJacks win in the second meeting 81-62.

The absence of BlackJacks forward Deng Adel will be a major factor in tonight’s game, and for Ottawa. In the two meetings between Montréal and Ottawa last season, Adel averaged 13.5 points and five rebounds in 34.2 minutes of play.

Kare Gray scored 27 pints and added nine assists in the BlackJacks opening game last Wednesday, on May 31, Gray tallied nine points and one assist in 15 minutes.

For their part, the Alliance will be able to count on Blake Francis, who scored 32 points in the Alliance’s win over the Niagara River Lions last Friday. Francis also added seven rebounds and two steals to his stat sheet.
