Montreal Returns Home for Key Eastern Conference Matchup Against Niagara

Montreal, QC — The Montreal Alliance returns to the Verdun Auditorium Friday night as it hosts the Niagara River Lions. Montreal enters the matchup with a 6-6 record after completing a perfect Alberta road trip with victories over the Edmonton Stingers and Calgary Surge. Having won three of its last four games, the Alliance continues to establish consistency as it climbs the Eastern Conference standings.
Quincy Guerrier leads Montreal with averages of 13.9 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Davion Warren and Michael Hughes II have also provided consistent offensive production, with both averaging double figures through the opening half of the season.
The River Lions arrive in Montreal with a 5-7 record after dropping back-to-back games to the Scarborough Shooting Stars and Saskatoon Rattlers. Khalil Ahmad continues to lead Niagara offensively with an average of 20.8 points per game.
