MONTRÉAL FORWARD ELIJAH IFEJEH SIGNS WITH THE ALLIANCE

Montréal, QC – The Montréal Alliance announced Wednesday that Montréal forward Elijah Ifejeh has signed a contract with the expansion team for the remainder of the 2022 season of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). 


The six-foot-seven forward played the 2022 season with the Windsor Express in the NBLC. In 12 games with the Express, Ifejeh averaged 5.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.5 assists. 


Prior to joining the Windsor Express, Ifejeh played five collegiate seasons with Ranger College (2017-2018), Hill College (2018-2019), the University of Louisiana at Monroe (2019-2020), Southeastern Louisiana University (2020-2021) and Prairie View A&M University (2021-2022). The Montréal native had his best season in terms of statistics at Hill College, averaging 7.5 points and 5.2 rebounds per game. 

 

Ifejeh joins point guards Kemy Ossé, Hernst Laroche, Alain Louis and Lawi Msambya, shooting guards Isiah Osborne, Sherwood Brown and Mambi Diawara, forwards Dominic Green, Ashley Hamilton, James Jean-Marie, Nathan Cayo, Abdul Mohamed and Élie Karojo as well as centres Emondre Rickman and Marc-André Fortin. The Alliance currently hold a 4-14 record in 18 regular season games and will face the Saskatchewan Rattlers in their final home game of the season Friday, July 29th at 7:30 p.m. For more information or to purchase single game tickets starting at $20 per game, visit www.alliancemontreal.ca/en-ca/tickets.
