Montréal Alliance Announces Roster For 2023 Season

The Montréal Alliance announced Thursday its roster for the 2023 season of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL). The Alliance also announced the signing of Montrealer Quincy Louis-Jeune for the 2023 season.

 

The 13-player roster includes Nathan Cayo, Kemy Ossé, Alain Louis and Elijah Ifejeh, all four returning for a second consecutive season, Quebecers Mamadou Gueye, Biniam Ghebrekidan, Quincy Louis-Jeune and Saydou Sall, U Sports draft picks Aryan Sharma and Bahaïde Haïdara and Americans Treveon Graham, Ahmed Hill and Blake Francis. Montrealers Wilfried Balata and Elie Karojo as well as international player Eliel Nsoseme will not be part of the roster for the 2023 season.

 

A six-foot-six Montrealer, Louis-Jeune played two university seasons with the uOttawa Gee-Gees, averaging 18.0 points, 2.4 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 31.2 minutes in 2022-23. Louis-Jeune also helped his team win the OUA and reach a third place finish at the U Sports National Championship.
