Jun 01, 2023

The Ottawa BlackJacks are out for revenge as they take on the Montréal Alliance at TD Place Arena at 7:30pm. The game will be broadcast online on TSN+, CEBL+, and on the CEBL Mobile app.

Tonight’s game will be the second time Montréal and Ottawa have met in the last five days. In their first meeting on May 28, the Alliance prevailed 97-76.

Three Alliance players scored more than 20 points in the match-up. Guards Blake Francis and Ahmed Hill led the team in scoring with 24 and 22 points, while Nathan Cayo added 21 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

The Alliance is currently averaging 90.5 points per game, making it one of the most productive offenses in the league this season.

Ottawa won its last game against the Scarborough Shooting Stars on May 30, making 18 three-points shots, three times more than on May 28 against Montréal.

Michael Flowers hit six of his nine three-point shots for the BlackJacks that night, while forward Maxime Boursiquot added four three-pointers.

After tonight’s game, the Alliance will return to Montréal to take on the Brampton Honey Badgers on Sunday. Fans can buy tickets at https://www.ticketmaster.ca/montreal-alliance-vs-brampton-honey-badgers-verdun-quebec-06-04-2023/event/31005E86CC9B2405?language=fr-ca.
