Montreal Opens Three-Game Road Trip in Niagara

St. Catharines, ON — The Montreal Alliance begins a three-game road trip Sunday afternoon as it visits the Niagara River Lions for the fourth and final regular-season meeting between the two teams this season.
Montreal enters the matchup with an 8-9 record following Friday night's 92-86 victory over the Brampton Honey Badgers. The Alliance has continued to receive balanced offensive production, with six players once again reaching double figures in the win.
Blondeau Tchoukuiegno has emerged as Montreal's leading scorer, averaging 15.0 points, 5.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game as he prepares to face his former team.Ithiel "IT" Horton has found his rhythm with the Alliance, averaging 14.0 points per game while delivering timely scoring in recent contests.
Niagara enters Sunday's contest with a 6-10 record after earning a victory in its most recent outing. Khalil Ahmad continues to lead the River Lions with 18.0 points per game, while newcomer Kyle Vinales is coming off a 24-point performance.
Sunday's matchup gives Montreal an opportunity to carry its momentum onto the road as the Alliance looks to build on Friday's performance and continue climbing the Eastern Conference standings.
