Lue Williams III led the way for the Alliance with 19 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals while delivering an efficient two-way performance throughout the night. Michael Hughes II followed up his strong season debut with another dominant all-around performance, finishing with 18 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, four steals and two blocks to record his second straight double-double.
Hughes impacted the game in every possible way, protecting the rim, controlling the glass and bringing relentless energy throughout the night. His physical presence played a major role in Montreal’s dominance in the paint.

The Alliance once again showcased its offensive depth with several key contributors stepping up throughout the game.
Javon Freeman-Liberty added 18 points, six rebounds and seven assists, while Quincy Guerrier contributed 13 points and brought his usual versatility and energy at both ends of the floor.
Trent Johnson energized the Verdun crowd with a series of highlight-reel dunks and explosive drives to the basket, finishing with 11 points and six rebounds off the bench.
Montreal controlled the paint from start to finish, outscoring Saskatoon 62-32 inside while consistently attacking the rim and forcing the Mamba defense to collapse.
A dominant fourth quarter seals it
Despite Montreal’s interior attack, Saskatoon stayed within striking distance thanks largely to Tavian Dunn-Martin, who erupted for a game-high 27 points while shooting an impressive 75 percent from three-point range.
Dajuan Gordon added 16 points and seven rebounds, while the Mamba bench chipped in 33 points to keep the visitors competitive throughout much of the night.
After entering the fourth quarter with only a four-point lead, Montreal took control of the game with timely stops and relentless pressure on the offensive end. The Alliance controlled the pace in the closing minutes and continued generating quality offensive opportunities to pull away for a convincing 93-80 victory.
