Scarborough, ON — The Montreal Alliance travels to the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre Wednesday afternoon for a matchup against the Eastern Conference-leading Scarborough Shooting Stars in the second meeting between the two teams this season.

Montreal enters the matchup with a 7-6 record and sits second in the Eastern Conference after winning three consecutive games, most recently earning a convincing victory over the Niagara River Lions. Strong defensive play has been a key part of the Alliance's recent success, with each of its last three opponents held below 90 points.

Quincy Guerrier leads Montreal with 14.3 points per game, while Anthony Nelson continues to direct the Alliance offense. Ranked third in the CEBL in assists, Nelson's playmaking has been a key factor in Montreal's recent success.

The Shooting Stars arrive with an 11-2 record and continue to hold the top spot in the Eastern Conference. Myles Powell leads the Shooting Stars’ offense with 25.6 points per game, while Frank Mitchell averages a league-leading 11.3 rebounds per contest.

Wednesday’s matchup features two of the Eastern Conference's top teams and presents another important opportunity for Montreal as it looks to close the gap on the Eastern Conference leaders.

Tip-off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. ET at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.
