June 29, 2026

Montreal, QC — The Montreal Alliance of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) announced today the signing of Montreal native Jefferson Koulibaly.

The 6-foot-3 guard joins the Alliance after five seasons of NCAA Division I experience at Georgia Southern, Pacific, Southern Methodist, and Washington State.

"Jefferson has gained valuable experience throughout his NCAA Division I career, and we're excited to welcome another Montreal player to the Alliance," said Co-Owner and General Manager Joel Anthony. "We're looking forward to helping him continue his development within our organization as he works toward a professional career."

Most recently, Koulibaly appeared in 25 games in his senior season at Georgia Southern, averaging 4.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.0 steal per game. Over the course of his collegiate career, he played in 92 NCAA Division I games across four programs while continuing to develop his game.

A native of Montreal, Koulibaly attended Lincoln Prep in Hamilton before representing Canada at the 2017 FIBA U16 AmeriCup, helping the national team capture a silver medal.

Koulibaly now joins the Alliance as the organization continues its 2026 CEBL campaign.
