Alliance Falls to League-Leading Sea Bears in Winnipeg

The Montreal Alliance dropped a 109-80 decision to the league-leading Winnipeg Sea Bears on Sunday afternoon at Canada Life Centre, as Teddy Allen delivered a historic offensive performance with 54 points, setting multiple franchise and CEBL records.


Trent Johnson paced the Alliance with 22 points and seven rebounds on 56 percent shooting, while Blondeau Tchoukuiegno added 17 points on an efficient 6-of-10 shooting performance. Keeshawn Barthélémy contributed 14 points off the bench, giving Montreal three players in double figures.


Johnson's 22-point performance marked his highest-scoring outing since joining the Alliance, while Tchoukuiegno extended his streak of double-digit scoring games to three. Kevin Osawe also grabbed eight rebounds in the effort.


Allen connected on 21 of his 29 field-goal attempts, including nine three-pointers, to lead Winnipeg, while Xavier Moon recorded a double-double with 17 points and 14 assists in his first appearance of the 2026 season, helping the Sea Bears improve their league-leading record.
