Alliance Fall 98-78 to Stingers

The Montreal Alliance dropped a 98-78 decision to the Edmonton Stingers on Sunday afternoon at the Verdun Auditorium, moving to 3-5 on the season.

Quincy Guerrier led Montreal with a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Michael Hughes II added 13 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks. Guillaume Boucard provided a spark off the bench with 14 points on an efficient shooting performance, and Anthony Nelson continued his strong start in the CEBL with 10 points and three assists.

Isaih Moore led the Stingers with 37 points and 15 rebounds, while Michael Nuga added 15 points in the win.

Montreal returns to action on Wednesday night when they host the Brampton Honey Badgers at the Verdun Auditorium. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. as part of the Alliance's Caribbean Rhythm Game. Fans can enjoy $5 beers until the end of the first quarter.
