Alliance Fall 97-84 to Shooting Stars

The Montreal Alliance dropped a 97-84 decision to the Scarborough Shooting Stars on Friday night at the Verdun Auditorium.
Quincy Guerrier recorded a double-double with 14 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, while Ithiel Horton continued his strong start with the Alliance by adding 14 points. Blondeau Tchoukuiegno impressed in his Alliance debut with 12 points off the bench, and Guillaume Boucard also finished with 12 points as Montreal once again showcased its balanced attack with seven players scoring at least nine points.
The Alliance also controlled the glass, outrebounding the Shooting Stars 46-35, and held league-leading rebounder Frank Mitchell to just three rebounds. Montreal's bench continued to provide a spark with 39 points.
For the Shooting Stars, Akoi Yuot led all scorers with 24 points, while Myles Powell added 19 points and nine assists in his return to the lineup. Khalil Miller chipped in 16 points for Scarborough.
