Fueled by an electric crowd and the vibrant atmosphere of Caribbean Rhythm Night at the Verdun Auditorium, the Montreal Alliance earned a 105-92 victory over the Brampton Honey Badgers on Wednesday night.
Javon Freeman-Liberty led the way with a game-high 34 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists, shooting an efficient 14-for-19 from the field. Quincy Guerrier added 16 points, four rebounds, and four assists, while Anthony Nelson continued to impress in his early appearances with the Alliance, finishing with 15 points and five assists.
Montreal's balanced attack was on full display, with five players scoring in double figures. Michael Hughes II contributed 10 points and three rebounds, while Guillaume Boucard added seven points and nine rebounds off the bench. The Alliance controlled the game for much of the night, building a lead as large as 26 points while shooting 56 percent from the field.
For Brampton, Sean East II led the Honey Badgers with 28 points and 10 assists, while Landers Nolley II added 16 points in the defeat.
